12-30-00 [My Life, America] — Wyatt @ 15:57 pm

There’s some sort of snow disaster so I am very bored today. Cleaned up Cor Lore as well as Boojockoes (both in the stories section). Both of these works should now be readable. Also the front page was changed, but you can see that can’t you?

12-29-00 [My Life, Movies, America] — Wyatt @ 22:06 pm

There is a new section known as Movie Reviews (About Violence). In it I review random kung fu movies and other similar deals. Please check out the animated dif on the front page. It is hilarious.

UPDATE: Wow and update on the day’s update…Cor Lore 2 has been cleaned up and should now be readable. It’s in the stories section.

Gospel According To Wyatt #08 [Music, America] — Wyatt @ 9:49 am

Hullo…I’m sorry I didn’t write sooner, but Father Christmas came and he and I had a horrid row about some nonsense before we had some tea and crumpets…anyway please enjoy this gospel. It is quite humourous and you will have a jolly good time chap.

Good lord, now that I got Edmund out of here, todays topic will be musical help for those who hate Limp Bizkit and cannot find anything to eat or listen to.

Weezer

Weezer

Originally I wasn’t to fond of Weezer, but the advent of Korn caused me to start liking a large amount of music I was originally not fond of. Weezer are a really good band despite of (or maybe because of) the fact that they are total dorks. Anyway check out their albums.
Fave Track: “Tired of Sex” off the album, Pinkerton.

Kill Rock Stars

Not a band but a record label. They got loads of boss bands on it. Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, Unwound, and Frumpies are all fun bands. Their webpage has lots of MP3s for download so head over there and check out some bands.
Kill Rock Stars Webpage

Sleater-Kinney
Sleater-Kinney

Somewhere between the Go-Go’s and Hole is Sleater-Kinney. They are kind of punk, kind of dance pop, kind of weird. Anyway I mentioned them above in the KRS section so you can head over to that zone for more info on them. Here’s a quote from one of them, which is further proof they’re a good idea, “[Henry] Rollins performed atop an exercise mat, because he plays in bare feet. Actually, most everything is bared on Rollins except for what his tiny soccer shorts cover, which isn’t much.”
Fave Track: “Dance Song ‘97″ on Dig Me Out record.

Shonen Knife

Shonen Knife

Bizzaro Japanese girl band. They write alot of songs about food and cover alot of Ramones. They are odd characters and have some fun tunes. Check out the album Let’s Knife, which is a very good name for an album by the way.
Fave Track: “Flying Jelly Attack” on Lets Knife.

Lionel Richie

Lionel Richie

Seriously OMG Lionel Richie is radical. He has such soul and feelings in his works all the way back to his days in the Commadores…come on “Brick House?” FUCK YEAH! Thats what I thought…you can not deny that which is Lionel Richie! FEEL THE POWER!!!! HE’S FUCKING DANCING ON THE CEILING DUDE! HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT? ‘SUP PUNK?

LIONEL: Yo you steppin’? THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT PUNK…YOU BEST RESPECT!!!!!!!!
No seriously though despite the fact that “Hello,” is one of the funniest songs I know of Lionel doesn’t really make the list this time. Better luck next time buddy.

Well I think that about does it for this time…hold on a second. Here’s a list of other random bands that are worth checking out: Sunny Day Real Estate, Death Cab for Cutie, Get Up Kids, Sonic Youth, Bangs, Pixies, Afgahn Wigs, and umm…Chad Hefner (not really a band).

Ok for real this time, I’m outta here. I’ll see you all next time. If you got suggestions of other bands for me lemme know. Otherwise I think next week will be a walkthru for the video game Tetris or my interview with Stone Temple Pilots and Stone Wall Jackson.

12-19-00 [My Life, Games, America] — Wyatt @ 13:25 pm

Hurrah! School is finnished for semester. I think I repaired my comp so Everquest should work, unfortunately EQ is down so I can’t check. Therefore: small update to alert you about…I removed all the midi files and references to said midi files, because they were not working well. That about does it for now.

Gospel According To Wyatt #07 [Television, America] — Wyatt @ 22:38 pm

Yo what’s up maties? Oh really? That’s good to hear. Anyway, todays gospel deals with the subject of…wait it’s not going to be a traditional gospel this week. In this installment I am going to invent a television program on the fly! Well here we go!

American Family House of Doom

Theme Song: Oh baby we just your typical family…
We living in America doing like americans, we got the power!
A single parent/uncle or aunt with some wacky ass kids…
Trying to get by? In the city of Portland…
We work and we play…In the Rain! We work and play!
We’re American Family House of Doom!!!!!

American Family House of Doom is brought to you by Toyota and Pepcid Ac!

Shows house. Some dude in a leather jacket enters living room. Throws leather jacket on couch. A single parent/uncle or aunt walks in wearing an apron.

SP/UoA: Chris whats wrong?
CHRIS The Disgruntled Teen: Nutthin….Only everything.
SP/UoA: What does that mean?
CHRIS: Becky Robinson broke up with me! (editors note: Hey remember the real Becky Robinson? eh eh eh)
SP/UoA: Oh…that’s to bad Chris I know how you feel.
CHRIS: No you don’t! I’m gonna build a robot.

The remainder of the episode has Chris build a robot which he uses to try and get back together with Becky, but somehow the robot only ends up confusing matters (who’d of thunk it?)… also Chris’ sister Beth gets involved in crank and there is serious issues which are resolved before the episode concludes. Numerous cheesy catch phrases are used….hmmm lemme think one up. ah i got one! “That’s the assault squad!” it’s a stupid line yet the laugh track doesnt mind at all and still laughs its ass off.

After show ends this happens…
David Hasselhoff: Hi I’m David Hasselhoff. I play single parent/uncle or aunt. In tonight’s story, Beth had a problem with crank. If you our anyone you know has a problem with crank its not too late to get help. For information on getting off crank call 1-800-TV-CARES.

end credits….

David Hasselhoff as Single parent/uncle or aunt
Joey Lawrence as Chris
That chick from Growing Pains as Beth
Becky Robinson as herself
Scooter the Gobot as Robotic Chris

WOW! What a great television program…anyway i think that about does it for this installment. Next gospel will be about something more serious, or just me being bored and waiting for it to be Christmas so i can get some phat lewt! BOOYAH DADDY!

12-18-00 [My Life, America] — Wyatt @ 21:59 pm

Ah hello maties! Gospel #7 is up for your reading pleasure. Next week is X-mas. Gospel #8 might be early because of this, but might not be early because of Everquest. I don’t know what I’m talking about.

12-13-00 [My Life, America] — Wyatt @ 9:41 am

Well it’s basically 9:41 am, and since I don’t have class for some hour yet I did some update. In this update I just converted all the old editorials from TXT files to HTML. I’m not sure I should keep it this way or got back to TXT though since something about TXT files suits my page better. Anyway with it in HTML it can look neater and involve artwork so it’s probably going to stay. I also uploaded some kind of humorous deal that was saved on my computer. Check it out.

12-11-00 [My Life, America] — Wyatt @ 21:51 pm

There’s a new editorial up on the page. Since school will be ending soon, and I am usually bored, I’m going to aim at doing an editorial a week, but don’t hold me to that.
