You've been around Koreans too much; even when they attain considerable fluency in English, they can never seem to catch the idea that the word, as commonly used in English, lacks plural and singular forms. "Junks" would be the plural form of the word used to describe Chinese boats. The remedy: converse with some round-eyes from time to time. “junks” is supposed to be “junk.” You’ve been around Koreans too much; even when they attain considerable fluency in English, they can never seem to catch the idea that the word, as commonly used in English, lacks plural and singular forms. “Junks” would be the plural form of the word used to describe Chinese boats.
