As you can see even people in the north long to be united and suffer the pain of seperation. So inspite of the repressive government, they still have human yearnings and somehow that was allow to be shown in their media. I don't understand why people wonder what is the purpose of your blog. On the other hand, if you have ever spent much time in Asia, or ever plan to do so you will find Kimchi and Me informative, entertaining and relevant. It’s a meaningful read in the sense that writer and reader can engage in the transaction of ideas and agree on the significance or insignificance of events with a common thread between writer and reader. Alternatively, if you never intend to leave Detroit but are looking for music more indie than the next guy’s you can often learn about an up and coming Korean punk band or the like. Bob,
